3. Vendor Eligibility

4. Vendor Obligations

As a vendor, you agree to:

  • Protect personal data in compliance with POPIA.
  • Respond to customer complaints promptly.

5. Prohibited Products and Conduct

  • Non-Halaal, expired, counterfeit, or illegal goods.
  • Fraudulent or misleading practices.
  • Price or review manipulation.
  • IP rights infringement.
  • Collection or misuse of customer data.
  • Hate speech or unlawful promotion.

6. Fees and Payment

  • We may charge commissions or service fees as communicated to you.
  • Payments are processed securely via approved payment gateways.
  • Vendors are responsible for any applicable taxes, including VAT.

7. Intellectual Property

All Halaalish branding and platform content remains the property of Halaalish (PTY) Ltd. Vendors grant us a royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use and promote their product content on the platform and associated media.

8. Account Suspension or Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms, illegal activity, or actions harmful to the platform’s integrity or reputation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by South African law, Halaalish shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including delivery failures or third-party disputes.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Halaalish, its staff, and partners harmless from any claims, damages, or legal fees arising from your breach of these terms or misuse of the platform.
